I have been helping at SDON for 4 months and have enjoyed being with the dogs & seeing the center grow. I wish i ' d had more spare time to help and i hoped in the future i can come again. It's a beautifull area and the work is very important. Both Mr Rai & Bal Kumara have helped me a alot showing the culture & helping to manage my room.
I hoped in the future there will always be a volunteer. I would like to see the dogs have a more varied diet, more diffrent foods. I suggest all long term dogs got taken out for a walk at least once a day. It is important for them. I hope in the future there can be someone in the center almost 24 hrs so the dogs can spend more time outside fromtheir cages and that longer more permanent Kennels/ cages can be managed. Also Isolation for sick and aggressive dogs. And all medicines on site so when a dog is sick it can be treated quickly. Whising SDON good luck for the future.

I have worked as a volunteer just 10 days in the dog cventer. After other experiences in Nepal as volunteer too, I found this place amasing Nice location and nice people, and above all nice dogs. Mine it was a short experience, but really nice. In the begining i was a bit worried because i didn't have any experience in this field, but immidiately i had a food feeding with the dogs, Bal kumar and Mr Rai . About suggestions i think that dogs need more exercise and a properly neutrition because some of them are too thin. But i really like the way that you are working.
I wish yoy the best. And I wish to my self to come back in Nepal and work again with you.

First of all, thank you for being so kind to let me visit the center. First i saw you website and found it because of my inspiration. Being in the US is different because street dogs are rare and they are kept in a shelter. My goal is to make sure that thses dogs in Nepal have a shelter. Seeing all these dogs are very heart warming despite seeing all those dogs have problems. Keeping thse dogs and taking care of them is just great and a good benifit for the dogs. I will do my best to gather money to build more room for these dogs . I think it is time for these dogs to get a shelter and i will make sure they do.
Just wanted to let you all know that together, we raised $400 for the Street Dogs of Nepal Organization!
Ive attached a copy of the cashiers check that will go out in today's mail!
As you know, my trip was canceled at the last minute due to a genuine concern for my safety however, I still really, really wanted to help these doggies....so THANK YOU so very much! Please keep them in mind next time you would like to make a difference in the life of one of these poor doggies!
